Senior Technical Fraud Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Identify patterns and make analytical recommendations to the leadership and executive team.
  • Investigate assigned work queues to determine risk potential based on established fraud systems and procedures
  • Identify new fraud and cybercrime threats to the payments ecosystem and communicate them to relevant personnel
  • Provide intelligence and technical analysis support to the fraud analyst teams
  • Thorough documentation, categorization, and reporting of incidents
  • Work closely with the customer service, fraud, and IT teams
    Recognize and implement process improvements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience with merchant processing is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient in SQL or equivalent language
  • Confident, strong work ethic, highly motivated, sense of humor, a winning "Can-Do" attitude, team oriented
  • Certified Fraud Examiner certification is a plus
