T-CETRA Foundation Launches To Address Financial Literacy And Community Development

Foundation Accepting Grant Applications Immediately− 

DUBLIN, OH (May 24, 2021)−The executive team of T-CETRA, a leading financial technology solutions provider, has launched the T-CETRA Foundation to strategically and philanthropically address the needs of the 84.8 million underbanked individuals across the U.S. Founded in 2020, the Foundation will seek to improve the lives of the  un/derbanked by providing grants and in-kind technology support to enhance financial literacy and access to technology. 

Now Accepting Grant Applications 

The T-CETRA Foundation is accepting grant applications now through September 1, 2021. Any public 501 (c)(3) nonprofit is invited to apply for grants, however, priority consideration is given to organizations whose primary focus is centered around financial literacy and technology impact in low income, underserved communities in Ohio and beyond. For a full list of eligibility requirements, please visit https://www.tcetrafoundation.org/grants/ 

“Improving financial literacy and technology access at a young age can empower the next generation and give them the tools to succeed throughout life. We launched the T-CETRA Foundation because we believe we can break down the cycle of indebtedness by providing financial knowledge, and therefore financial empowerment, that can provide new opportunities and uplift whole underserved communities,” said Abdul Akel, Co-Founder of the T-CETRA Foundation and T-CETRA. 

Like its olive tree logo, The Foundation’s vision is to plant and nourish seeds of opportunity for the underserved so communities may grow. In its inaugural year, the Foundation has supported The Fugees Academy and NeighborRelief
